About: The UF/IFAS North Florida Research and Education Center (NFREC) presents the fourth-annual Forage Legume Conference, an opportunity for growers, ranchers and educators to learn how cool- and warm-season forage mixtures with legumes can benefit ruminants and wildlife and enhance soil health. The event agenda includes expert speakers, a veteran producer panel with a Q&A session, an industry trade show and a tour of legume plots at the NFREC Beef Research Unit.
Event speakers include UF/IFAS experts in forage crops, animal sciences and weed biology, as well as James Muir, a regents professor in grassland ecology for Texas A&M AgriLife Research.
Attendees may register online. A $15 fee includes lunch.
