The Teen Leadership Council (TLC) hosts its annual Holiday Celebration, providing 4-H families with an opportunity to come together for an evening of fellowship and festivities. Planned and led by TLC members, this event features a themed holiday experience, engaging activities, and a shared meal. This year’s celebration embraced a Christmas and beach theme, creating a unique and festive atmosphere. As part of the event’s commitment to community service, attendees contributed new stuffed animals, which were donated to the local police department to support children in need. A key moment of the evening was the candle-lighting ceremony, where TLC recognized members’ dedication and officially inducted the newly elected 2024-2025 officer team. Following the ceremony, participants enjoyed a variety of holiday-themed games, crafts, and group activities, including line dancing.
The Holiday Celebration continues to be a valued tradition within Nassau County 4-H, reinforcing leadership, service, and community engagement while fostering a joyful holiday spirit.
