Extension Office Re-Opening on November 9, 2020

The University of Florida/IFAS, Nassau County Extension Service in Callahan (543350 US Highway 1, Callahan, Florida 32011) will be open to the public as of November 9. The Callahan office lobby will be open for up to two (2) people at a time from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays). Face coverings will be required inside all County facilities/offices while maintaining social distancing of 6 feet. You may be asked to wait outside or in your vehicle until space allows additional individuals to enter the office. Please call our office to make arrangements for soil testing and to order/pick up Zoe’s Mission. To meet with a 4-H, Natural Resource/Agriculture Agent, Family and Consumer Sciences or Horticulture Agent please call our office to make your appointment: (904)530-6353. The Yulee Satellite location will remain closed until further notice. Soil samples that are labeled with name, phone number and purpose for testing PH can be placed in a bin at the Yulee Satellite Office. Soil samples will be collected Monday morning and delivered to the Callahan Extension Office for PH Testing.

As always, if you are not feeling well or are experiencing symptoms associated with COVID-19 we ask that you stay home, and we will be happy to assist you via phone or email. Likewise, if you are isolating because you have tested positive for COVID or are under quarantine because of close contact to a positive case, please request services be provided to you remotely by phone or email rather than in person.
