Last month Mid-Florida Research and Education Center (MREC) Center Director Roger Kjelgren was interviewed by Craig Patrick on Fox 13 Tampa
Bay.
During his interview, Kjelgren spoke about the UF/IFAS Industrial Hemp Pilot Project, highlighting MREC’s research that includes studies of pest management and fertilizer application rates.
MREC is a hemp research location for production trails, focused on understanding variety selection, cropping system development and the economics behind industrial hemp production.
