Tom Vilsack , the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture will visit the Agricultural community and for that reason, a meeting open to the Public and Media will be be hosted at the University of Florida (UF)/IFAS Miami-Dade County Extension Office by Rep. Joe Garcia on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 5:30 PM.

The Secretary will provide brief remarks regarding USDA’s mission, responsibilities, and commitment to the growers and consumers of South Dade. Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity for questions and to meet the Secretary.
