Introduction to Sewing Workshop

Do you have a sewing machine sitting around that you don’t know how to operate? Do you know how to use your machine but would like to know more? If you answered yes to either question, we have the workshop for you.

An Introduction to Sewing Workshop will be held, Thursday, April 10th, in the Panhandle Pioneer Settlement Club House, Blountstown, FL. Choices of times are either 12-3 or 5-8 CT.

Workshop will focus on learning your machine: machine parts and their functions, cleaning and maintenance; troubleshooting; different pressed feet and uses; then everyone will make a draw string bag.

Please bring your machine. Supplies for the bag will be provided.

Cost of workshop is $30. Must register by April 7th by calling 643-2229.

Taught by Monica Brinkley and Sandy Voss. Co-sponsored by UF IFAS Extension, Liberty County and Panhandle Pioneer Settlement.
