Identity Fraud Lunch and Learn

Identity Fraud is crime that everyone should be aware of and learn how to avoid it. More and more people are using on line shopping which can expose one’s financial information. Even some in-store purchases have not been secure. It is Tax Season which also opens doors of opportunity for thieves.

A Lunch and Learn Workshop on Identity Fraud will be held on February 26th at
12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Jefferson County UF/IFAS Extension Office. Important tips on how to avoid Identity Fraud will be discussed. Representatives from Farmers Merchant Bank, Monticello Police Department and Jefferson County Sheriff Department will be present.
