Beautiful Butterflies

Today Jefferson County Home and Community Educators (HCE) club took a trip to the UF Butterfly Rainforest to learn how to plant and sustain their own butterfly gardens. The question of the day is, “What’s the difference between a cocoon and a chrysalis?” Butterflies produce chrysalis and moths make cocoons. A cocoon is an extra layer of silk and often times leaves in which moth pupa grow. You are never too old or too young to learn something new. If you have not been to the University of Florida’s Butterfly Rainforest is an awsome sight for eyes of all ages!
