UF/IFAS Peanut Field Day (Marianna) – August 13

Please join us at the North Florida Research and Education Center in Marianna (3925 Highway 71) on August 13th for the annual UF Peanut Field Day. This half-day educational program focuses exclusively on peanut production, with topics including insect, disease, and weed control, variety performance, pesticide safety, and updates on the deer damage and deterrents work being performed by UF/IFAS.

Check-in and registration are 7:30-8:20 AM CST followed by the welcome. Trolleys depart from the peanut building at 8:30 AM with the first speaker beginning at 8:40 AM CST.

Florida and Georgia pesticide CEUs have been requested for the program, as well as certified crop advisor CEUs. The program is anticipated to be approved for 1 Core and 2 category CEUs for Florida applicators.
