Jackson County 4-H is hosting three day camps in July 2021. These single-day camps are great opportunities to get out of the house for the day, learn something new, make new friends, and have fun in a constructive setting. All feature hands on learning and instruction.

Love to cook? Then this day camp may be the one for you! For the “Burger Battle” participants will learn the history of the ever so famous Hamburger. They will compete, as individuals or teams in an attempt to create the most outstanding burgers!

Do your kids love to be creative in the kitchen? For the Chopped Challenge, participants will be given a surprise set of ingredients to make a tasty dish. If you are a frequent watcher of The Food Network, then you know how fun this type competition could be for kids. The 4-H Chopped Challenge is the day camp for you!

Let’s Get Sudsy 4-H Day Camp

This camp is designed for youth that want to have fun and have a creative mind. Youth will learn the history of making soap and design/create your own soaps. We will be making jelly soap, melt and pour soap, glycerin soap and a whole lot more! The 4-H Office provides all materials.

General Day Camp Information
Registration for all day camps is open. The deadline to register for each day camp will vary on each camp. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis, and fees must be paid in full at registration. Refunds will only be issued if requests are made before the registration deadline.
