Jackson County 4-H is Growing #TrueLeaders Nationwide

All too often we hear of all the negative things that are happening in our country today. It’s in the news, in social media, on the radio and television, it’s everywhere. Thank goodness we have good things going on in 4-H that help us to remember that there is hope for our young people and our future.

This past year has seen the emergence and growth of some 4-H youth whom I believe will be “#TrueLeaders” in not only this community, but in our Nation as well. These youth have stepped up to be leaders in their local clubs and communities, as well as at District, State, and Regional, and soon to be National levels.

They are our future. The 4‑H experience teaches youth responsibility, compassion, respect and the value of hard work. It helps them grow into confident youth and adults.

We hope you will continue to help us to recognize youth for the good they do, their courage to try new things and never give up, and to give them the chance to show true leadership.
