2015 Jackson County 4-H Open House Sees Many New Faces

Jackson County 4-H hosted an Open House on Tuesday, August 11 at 6:00 PM at the Jackson County Conference Center on Pennsylvania Avenue. Volunteers and 4-H youth from the 4-H Clubs set up tables with information about their clubs and were available to answers questions. Jackson County 4-H Agent Angel Granger, along with Extension Staff members Lynn Nowling and Patti Peacock were also available for questions and to offer guidance in the 4-H enrollment process.

The event was well attended with 103 visitors and many new 4-H prospects! Jackson County 4-H is excited about the growth seen over the past year and is looking forward to a great 2015-2016 4-H Year. Enrollment for the new 4-H year begins September 1, 2015, so make sure that if you are a current volunteer or 4-H youth that you re-enroll. You may enroll or re-enroll at 4HOnline https://florida.4honline.com or visit the UF/IFAS Jackson County 4-H Office at 2741 Pennsylvania Avenue, Suite 3, Marianna, Florida 32448 to complete a paper application.
