Jackson County 4-H Youth Prepare to Compete at State 4-H Horse Show

Eight local Jackson County 4-H youth will be headed to Tampa this week to begin a new chapter in the history of Jackson County 4-H! For the first time in many years, Jackson County 4-H was represented by 4-H youth from Jackson County, who competed at the Area A 4-H Horse Show and qualified to go on to compete at the State 4-H Horse Show in Tampa July 8 – 11. The youth along with their Club Leader Katricia Edenfield, volunteers and parents, have raised their own money to pay for entry fees and lodging. This group has worked extremely hard and we are very excited to see what the future holds! If you would be interested in helping to support them in their efforts, please contact the 4-H Club Leader Katricia Edenfield or the Jackson County 4-H Office.
