New Horse Club Is Kicking Up Some Dust!

The Jackson County 4-H Buckaroos traveled to the Florida Sheriffs Boys Ranch in Live Oak, Florida, to participate in the 57th Anniversary Open House & Horse Show on October 3, 4, and 5, 2014. The Buckaroos were there with the help of six 4-H Volunteers, to help raise funds for this great organization. Members of the Buckaroos competed in Pole Bending, the Texas Barrel Weave, the Personal Pick Up, the Arena Race, and the Clover Leaf. Each of the Buckaroos placed in one or more of the events. The Buckaroos are trailblazers and they are a group to be reckoned with! These youth have pledged their heads to clearer thinking, their hearts to greater loyalty, their hands to larger service, and their health to better living, for their club, their community, their country and their world. The club is raising money to help offset the costs of entry for the club members at the Area A Horse Show, which is hosted by Jackson County at the Ag Center on Highway 90. Mark your calendar now and make plans to come out and support Jackson County 4-H at the Area A Horse Show on April 17-18, 2015!
