Drought Continues as shown by 2012 FAWN Weather Summary

The chart above is a monthly weather summary from the UF/IFAS FAWN weather station located at the North Florida Research and Education Center. May was hot and dry and once again added to the drought totals of the three year period. The rainfall defit below average since January 2010 has increased to 38″ for this location. For the first 5 months of 2012, there has only been 5.4″ more rain than the total evapotranspiration.
