Indian River County recently hosted its 4th Annual All Hazards Disaster Preparedness Expo. On Saturday, May 2, 2026, this FREE event was held in the air-conditioned Jackie Robinson Training Complex in Vero Beach, Florida.

Additionally, our UF/IFAS Extension Indian River County Florida Master Gardener Volunteers were on hand. At their booth they spoke with Indian River County residents about disaster preparedness, being ready ahead of a disaster, and gave information that is research-based and free. And all of it just right for our Florida lives and the possible disasters we may face.
