Holmes County 4-H Will Hold Open Meeting for New Livestock Club

PIC Jerrett and CattleHolmes County 4-H will hold an open meeting for youth interested in raising 4-H animal projects and showing their animals in upcoming local fairs. Interested youth, parents, and individuals interested in volunteering are encouraged to attend this meeting on Tuesday, August 12, 2014, beginning at 6:00 PM at the Holmes County Ag Center. Youth ages 5-18 and their parents will have the opportunity to explore the different animal focuses such as beef cattle, horses, poultry and rabbits being offered within the 4-H Livestock Club and meet with the 4-H Agent and volunteers. Youth will also be able to enroll in the new 4-H year which begins September 1st. Volunteer information will be available for those adults interested in getting involved in this new 4-H livestock program.

Be sure to attend this meeting if you are wanting to get involved in the Livestock Club. Invite your friends to attend with you.

You are not required to have your own animal(s). This club is open to all youth that have an interest in learning about caring for livestock of all kinds!
