Free Soil Moisture and Rain Sensors to Accepted Participants in Technology Study

Are you ready to try a new technology that could conserve water and save money at no cost to you?

The UF/IFAS Extension Hillsborough County is seeking study participants for installation of new irrigation technology. Soil moisture sensors can save on average 16,900 gallons per thousand square feet of irrigated property. Our study will compare the efficiency of newly installed rain sensors with newly installed soil moisture sensors.

If you have a high-volume irrigation system that would be improved with new equipment, call Paula Staples to see if you qualify, 813-744-5519 x 54142.
