Have you been dragging your feet getting your pesticide license? Maybe you are unaware of the fact that you need a pesticide license. Hardee and Desoto County are offering pesticide licensing preparation trainings for General Standard Core, Private Applicator, and Agricultural Row Crop licenses.

Applicability

If you  intend to apply or supervise the application of a restricted-use pesticide (RUP) on agricultural commodities, read on.  If the RUP will be sprayed on land you own or rent or your employer owns or rents, then you need the Private Pesticide License. Sites include, farms, sod farms, ranches, groves, nurseries, gardens, aquaculture or livestock operations.

If you applying or supervising the application of a RUP on agricultural row crops, you would need an Agricultural Row Crop Pesticide License.
