Florida Gateway Fair’s Coloring Contest has taken on a new spin this year! The Ichetucknee Partnership has partnered with UF/IFAS Extension Columbia County this year to develop some fun pages. The Florida Gateway Fair Coloring Contest will feature our local celebrity, Bellamy the Beaver! Watch our blog for the coming Farm to Table Virtual and Fall Harvest Experience Virtual programs. These programs will be opened to schools and families. And, get excited, Bellamy will be included with special videos and highlights!
The Contest is open to any Columbia County youth between the age of 4-9 years old. Each youth may enter only ONE picture in their age division. In accordance, these age divisions are noted on the coloring pages including: age 4-5, 6-7, and 8-9. The exhibitor may use crayons, colored pencils or markers. Each entry must contain the name, age, mailing address and telephone number for the entrant. Entry deadline will be Tuesday October 20, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. Remember, entries will ONLY be accepted at the Fair Office. All entries will receive participation ribbons. The top three entries in each division will receive a Blue, Red, or White Ribbon. If you have any questions call the fair office at 386-752-8822.
