What is Gator Nation Giving Day?
“Two bits! Four bits! Six bits! A dollar! All for the Gators, stand up and holler!”
For decades, Mr. Two Bits passionately led Gator football fans in this cheer, wearing his iconic yellow dress shirt and orange-and-blue striped tie. His undeniable school spirit energized every game in The Swamp.
Like Mr. Two Bits, this annual 24-hour fundraising extravaganza brings the Gator Nation together with energy and school spirit. On February 16, 2023, UF alumni, faculty, staff, students, and friends will “Stand Up and Holler” by giving $1 or more to any part of the university.
