Culinary Herb, Colorful Containers, and Citrus Cultivars!

This is a three-part* program to improve gardening skill and knowledge.
“Culinary Herbs” includes discussion and instruction on herb and spring season vegetables including sowing seed and potting up edibles. You will leave with plants and or seeds.
“Citrus in the Landscape” identifies north Florida citrus varieties, discussion on tree selection and preparation for planting.
“Colorful Containers” will bring you through a guided demonstration and discussion. Participants will select and plant a  tabletop container to take home.

Practical application encourages participants to take an active role in the learning process. This three-part workshop is an indoor and outdoor event. Wear closed toe, secure footwear.

In partnership with Levy County Board of County Commissioners, Suwannee River Water Management District and Levy Soil and Water Conservation District, participants will practice gardening techniques, enhance skills and deepen gardening knowledge.
