The Administrative Spec II position provides specialized administrative and programmatic support for projects, programs, and initiatives within the UF/IFAS Strategic Partnerships & Innovation (SPI) Office and provides high-level executive administrative support to SPI leadership. The incumbent plays a key role in facilitating the development, coordination, and execution of strategic partnerships with corporate, governmental, and academic stakeholders, while ensuring efficient day-to-day operations of the SPI office.
This individual works collaboratively with internal UF/IFAS units, faculty, and external partners to support partnership development activities, communications, and program delivery. The position requires the ability to manage multiple complex assignments in a fast-paced environment, exercise independent judgment, and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. In addition, the role provides targeted operational support to major events coordinated through the UF/IFAS Dean for Research Office.

This is an Agricultural Assistant I position based in Citra, FL, within the Blueberry Breeding Program (UFBBP) of the Horticultural Sciences Department at the University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS). The position will be responsible for fieldwork associated with the maintenance of the UFBBP germplasm collection at the Plant Science Research and Education Unit (PSREU) in Citra, FL. Duties include assisting the Field Agricultural Scientist with the maintenance and repair of the irrigation infrastructure of the UFBBP plant plots; monitoring pest and disease presence within the UFBBP germplasm collection and maintaining miscellaneous equipment used in the care of the germplasm collection.
