Limited Pesticide License Training Opportunities

Did you know that in order to apply pesticides as a landscape maintenance company that a license through the Florida Department of Agriculture is required? UF IFAS Extension can assist in obtaining the Limited Commercial Landscape Maintenance license.

On Thursday, March 5 from 8:00 – 2:45, horticulture professionals may receive 6 CEUS and then take an examination to gain the Limited Commercial Landscape Maintenance Pesticide license. Pre registration is required for the Limited Commercial Training and Exam class. Each person who will be submitting an application to FDACS must bring:

  • Passport Picture or 1 ½ x 1 ½ recent, clear full-face photo.
  • Certificate of Insurance with a minimum aggregate of $500,000 (DACS Form 13654 or an Accord Form used by Insurance Agents**)
    **Certificate Holder’s name that must be on the bottom of the insurance form must be:

  • Check for $150 written to FDACS. This check will be mailed in with your exam. Each person must have a separate check.

LICENSE RENEWAL TRAINING – If you only need to renew your Limited Pesticide license, plan to attend the renewal training on Friday, March 20 from 8:00 – Noon. Preregistration is required.
