4-H to Vote 4/23 on the Sale of the Langley Bell 4-H Center – Vote Results: 21 votes are YES – 16 votes are NO

The Escambia County 4-H County Council will vote Monday April 23rd on the sale of the Langley Bell 4-H Center. The ballot will be YES or NO. Please see attached instructions for voting, as well as a Sample Ballot.

Each 4-H club has two voting delegates, and may elect an alternate to send to replace a delegate in case one of the delegates cannot attend. 4-H Club leaders will need to notify Extension Office at 475-5230 if an alternate will vote. This must be done by 4:30 pm on Friday April 20, 2012 in order to certify the roll for voting on Monday.

Please remember to wear your 4-H T-Shirt on Monday. This is a great opportunity to show unity and pride as 4-Hers.

There will be two voting locations to make it convenient for our families living in various parts of the county. The public is invited to attend the counting of the votes at 6:30 pm at the Extension Office located at 3740 Stefani Road, Cantonment, FL. We will post results on our website as soon as the votes have been certified by David Stafford, Supervisor of Elections. We want to thank the volunteers and staff of the Supervisor of Elections office for their assistance in this process and for allowing the youth to use this as an educational opportunity.
