Calhoun County 4-H is extremely proud of every 4th, 5th, and 6th grade 4-H Tropicana speech competitor and is pleased to announce the winners of the 2015-16 4-H Tropicana Countywide Speech Competition which was held on May 9th at the Extension Office. Before competing countywide, competitors first competed and placed in their classroom and then competed and placed in their schoolwide competition.

Elementary School Division (4th & 5th Grade) winners are (top from left to right): 1st place Caleb Detweiler (Blountstown), 2nd place Jolene Alday (Altha), and 3rd place Mitchell Mayo (Carr).

Middle School Division (6th Grade) winners are (bottom from left to right): 1st place Carleigh Mayo (Carr), 2nd place Heath Sims (Altha), and 3rd place Jada Coleman (Blountstown).

The countywide first place winners will go on to compete in the District 4-H Tropicana Competition on May 21st in Freeport, Florida.
