Take A Bite Out of Hunger

Cute boy ready to eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich on whole wheat bread
Did you know that the average child will eat 1,500 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches before he/she graduates from high school?

Join UF|IFAS Calhoun County Extension and the Florida Peanut Producers Association to help Take a Bite Out of Hunger by participating in a local peanut butter drive.
We are competing against other peanut producing counties in the Panhandle for the most jars of peanut butter donated. Participate and help make Calhoun County a winner while keeping our children eating locally grown peanuts in healthy, nutritious, and YUMMY peanut butter. Drop off unopened jars of peanut butter at Calhoun County Extension office now through November 25, 2015. All peanut butter collected will be donated to the Calhoun Liberty Ministry Center food pantry during Farm-City Week.

For more drop off information or to arrange pick up for large quantity donations, please call Calhoun County Extension at 850-674-8323.
