Cloverbuds ages 5-7 had a lot of Summer Fun on July 8th at the first session of the Calhoun County 4-H Summer Fun Day Camp. Session 1 was Arts Day and the Cloverbuds got creative with 3-D art sculpture. They learned about primary and secondary colors and then experimented with colors as they painted their 3-D art and also used objects such as toothbrushes and combs to apply texture to their paintings.
No day would be complete without scissors and construction paper so the Cloverbuds got busy and cut out different colored shapes and designed their individual masterpieces. A happy day camper at left displays his rocket ship.
Session 2 – Bug Day – will be held at the Extension Office on July 15th from 9 am – 12 noon CT. To enroll your Cloverbud, please call 850-674-8323. (Click here for Enrollment Forms.)
