4-H Fair & Market Poultry Auction

April 12th | 9 am – 1 pm | Open to the public!
Join us for the annual 4-H Fair and market poultry auction here at the Brevard County extension. Explore what 4-H offers your family while supporting youth in our community. There will be live animals, art exhibits, food, a silent auction, and a live poultry auction to end the day!

Did you know you can contact our office with your gardening questions? Our knowledgeable Master Gardener volunteers will be happy to assist you! These dedicated volunteers are ready to educate Brevard County residents on soil testing, the soil food web, what to plant where, diagnostics on plant issues, and much more. Whether you’re facing specific challenges in your yard or garden or simply seeking information, they’re here to help.
Email your questions to brevard-mg1@ifas.ufl.edu or call 321-633-1702 and select option 2. If you’d like to visit in person, our address is 3695 Lake Dr., Cocoa, FL 32926. We also have clinics in libraries throughout Brevard. Since this is volunteer-based, consider calling ahead to ensure someone will be at the desk for you.

Join us at the UF/IFAS Extension Office to learn how to preserve your own food! This hands-on experience will focus on the jam and jelly-making process. You can take your food home, so please bring a box with you, as the jars will still be hot.

Brevard County Farmers Market

Every Thursday at the Regional Pavilion inside Wickham Park | 3 pm – 6 pm
Join us at the market to discover a variety of homemade food from local businesses! There are many unique products like grass-fed beef, Fresh from Florida produce, spices, honey, jams, coffee, nut butters, microgreens, edible plants, a variety of baked goods and vegan desserts, olive oil, salsas, and more! We also participate in the Fresh Access Bucks (FAB) token program! This program allows SNAP recipients to buy fresh produce and other goodies with their food stamp benefits.
