Child Passenger Safety Seminar June 2023

June 7  |  9 am – 11 am
Learn about correct selection, installation, and use of child restraints plus how child restraints work to protect children. Eligible mothers will be able to purchase a car seat at a reduced cost at the end of the class. Must provide proof of enrollment in WIC, Medicaid, or Florida Access Benefits.

Bycatch Reduction Devices (BRDs) for Recreational Crab Traps

If you own a recreational crab trap and need a BRD, stop by our Master Gardener Desk during regular business hours. These BRDs are FREE and are designed to keep terrapin turtles out of your traps.
Available at the UF/IFAS Brevard Extension Office, Mon – Fri from 8 am – 5 pm (3695 Lake Dr., Cocoa, FL 32926); The Brevard County Farmers Market, Every Thursday from 3 pm – 6 pm (2500 Parkway Dr, Melbourne, FL 32935); or at the Titusville FWC office (1 A Max Brewer Memorial Parkway, Titusville, FL 32796).

Backyard Chicken Training Class

Need an O + T license? If so, this class is for you! NO CEUs available. Strictly review and exam class. Not for current license holders.

2023-2024 Brevard County 4-H Market Poultry Project

July 18  |  6 pm – 8 pm
The 4-H market poultry project is an 8-month project whereby youth raise chickens which are auctioned off at the end of the project. There will be one optional class on July 18 and five required classes throughout the project.

Florida Youth Naturalist Program Day Camp
