Welcome Back, ANS Undergraduates, for Spring 2025!

The ANS undergraduate advising office is excited to welcome UF Animal Sciences (ANS) students back for spring 2025! We hope everyone is refreshed from the holiday break and is ready to take on this semester. And welcome, new students, to the UF/IFAS Animal Sciences Department!

Important Spring Dates/Deadlines

  • Drop/Add is from Monday, August 13, to Friday, August 17
  • Fee Payments for Fall are due on Friday, January 24th by 3:30 PM
  • Fall Graduating SeniorsSubmit your degree application by Friday, February 7th.
  • Spring Advanced Registration begins on Monday, March 24th. Your specific date/time will be available in your One.UF.
  • Drop/withdrawal deadline is Friday, April 11th.

Upcoming Events

  • New Student Orientation is on Thursday, January 16th in the ANS Atrium! From 5 – 5:30 PM, clubs will be tabling and refreshments will be provided. This is a great opportunity to meet current ANS students! The orientation presentation will begin at 5:30 PM. Alexis and Savannah will dive into what the department offers you as a student. All new spring 2025 students are HIGHLY encouraged to attend this event. RSVP here!
  • Come grab coffee and donuts throughout the semester at ANS Coffee Connections! The fall sessions are scheduled for the following days in the ANS atrium:
    • February 18 9 AM – 11:30 AM
    • March 12 from 9 AM – 11:30 AM
    • April 1 from 9 AM – 11:30 AM
