Looking for a team oriented individual to join our cattle feeding crew here at Quincey Cattle Company. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who enjoys operating equipment, while being responsible for feeding cattle.

Responsibilities:
-Work under the supervision of our feed manager
-Operate feed truck/tractor to distribute assigned quantities of feed to cattle daily
-Recognize different feed rations
-Identify and correct mistakes by shoveling over fed quantities back onto the truck, notifying feed manager of any mis-feeds and cleaning up spills
-Clean bunks out, including regular removal of manure, rocks, etc.
-Minimize truck downtime, by servicing and inspecting truck routinely.
-Comply with all QCC guidelines regarding accuracy, distribution, and timeliness.
-Follow Quincey Cattle Company and Beef Quality Assurance guidelines including safety rules and policies.

Ideal Candidate
-Previous tractor driving knowledge and experience
-Ability to adapt to multiple environments and job related tasks
-Basic mechanical skills and heavy equipment experience
-Ability to take initiative and use analytical skills for problem solving
-Commitment to both human and animal safety and care

Required
-Valid driver’s license
-Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions i.e. heat, humidity
-Ability to work fluctuating hours, weekends, and holidays
-Ability to lift/move 50lbs and must be able to sit for long periods while operating a motor vehicle.
