Select Sires is seeking applicants for their Corporate Communications Internship for 2018.

Background and Skills Required:

• Major in communications, or in dairy and animal science with a communications focus, or in a related area of study
• Must have strong writing skills and be detail oriented
• Must have completed basic journalism and/or public relations coursework; additional coursework in desktop publishing is preferred
• Familiarity with dairy cattle pedigrees

Internship Responsibilities:

• Production of yearly calendar and writing press releases and customer testimonials
• Coordinating logistics for some trade show booth materials
• Assisting with desktop publishing projects, such as preparing advertisements, brochures and flyers
• Clerical duties, such as photocopying, collating mailings and filing
• Assisting other departments under direction of supervisor

• Location: Plain City, Ohio
• Availability: Full-time
• Compensation: Students are paid on an hourly basis
• Transportation: Student must provide his/her own transportation
