Florida CattleWomen Accepting Applications for Florida Beef Ambassador Program – due July 22, 2017

The Florida CattleWomen are now accepting applications for the Florida Beef Ambassador Program to promote beef across the state of Florida. 

The Florida Beef Ambassador Program provides an opportunity for youth to become spokespersons and future leaders for the beef industry. The goal is to provide consumers with information about beef nutrition, safety, and convenience as well as to provide producers with industry information, including facts about the beef check-off program. 

Ambassadors will also have the opportunity to attend FCA Quarterlies and Convention, in addition to earning a $1000 scholarship.

This program is open to anyone between the ages of 12 – 20 who would be interested in a public speaking opportunity in the Beef Industry. 
All forms must be postmarked by the registration deadline: Saturday, July 22, 2017 to the Florida Beef Ambassador Program Co-Chair.

The state competition will be held on Friday, July 28, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at the Florida State Fairgrounds, 4800 US Hwy 301 North, Tampa, FL 33610.
