The Presidential Service Award recognizes UF students who have dedicated 200 or more hours during the past year promoting social justice, community awareness, and civic engagement on campus and in the community.
There are three additional awards:
- The David and Wanda Brown Model of Leadership and Service Award – Recognizes a student who actively works to instill positive social change in the community and exemplifies the values of true leadership.
- Must have completed 300+ hours of community service.
- Emerging Servant Leader Award – Recognizes a first-year student who has shown a dedication to leading his or her peers in community engagement.
- Leadership and Service Advocate of the Year – Recognizes faculty, staff, or individuals in a community agency who have gone above and beyond through service and leadership.
