It’s day 1 of our new NIH funded teacher workshop on emerging pathogens: CATALySES. We have 15 high school teachers ready to go for a two-week experience combining content, lab practices, facilities tours, and planning for action research in their classrooms. I’m leading the evaluation and research for this 5-year project with the assistance of several undergraduate researchers.
