4-H Youth Fair Time!

The annual Washington County Youth Fair highlights all kinds of projects from crafts, photography and baked goods to poultry, rabbits, cattle and swine projects from youth all over our county. The Youth Fair rule book is available online at http://sfyl.ifas.ufl.edu/washington/4-h/. All entry forms are due February 1st to the UF/IFAS Extension Washington County office.

One of the highlights of the fair is the annual Farm Bureau Spaghetti Supper which supports the fair and 4-H youth programs in the county. The annual Livestock Auction allows 4-H and FFA members to auction off their projects for high quality meat to put in your freezer.

Youth Fair events for the week include:
Monday, February 26 3-5 pm Check in exhibits classes 1-17
Tuesday, February 27 5 pm Check in 4-H Members Only Showcase
Wednesday, February 28 3-5 pm Check in 4-H Poultry & Rabbits
Thursday, March 1 5 pm Check in for 4-H Poultry & Rabbit Showmanship
Friday, March 2 7:30 am Steer & Heifer Check in 8:30 am Swine Check in
4:15-6:30 pm Farm Bureau Spaghetti Supper
6 pm Beef & Swine Showmanship
Saturday, March 3 9 am Beef & Swine Market Classes
6 pm Beef & Swine Auction
