Solar Cooking Class – June 9

SolarCooker_ThumbMaking and using a solar cooker can let you have hot meals when the power is off, keep you from losing food, or just help reduce your cooking costs. We’ll demonstrate how to make a solar cooker, tips on safely using solar cookers, and even prepare food you can sample. Please join us Thursday, June 9, 6:00-8:30 p.m., at the Washington County Ag Center, 1424 Jackson Avenue, Chipley.

Registration fee is $5 and includes class materials. Space is limited. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED by contacting the Washington County Extension Office, 850-638-6265 or the Holmes County Extension Office, 850-547-1108.
