4-H Chicken Club is Back!

Chicken Club is back! Our poultry program is so popular that we are offering multiple options to participate. We will also have a virtual meeting – those meetings will begin in October.

This year, our club will be led by Angie Brooke and Christa Bingel along with 4-H agent Rachel Pienta.

First Meeting September 26, 2020 – RSVP Required

Our first socially distanced meeting will be held Saturday, September 26 at the Extension office in Crawfordville. RSVPs are required for this first introductory meeting. Club leaders will be discussing chicks and demonstrating brooder boxes. Spots available for the 10 am meeting or the 11 am meeting. Call 4-H agent Rachel at 926-3931 or email her at r.pienta@ufl.edu.

New and Returning Members Welcome

Chick Chain offers additional new activities for the experienced 4-H member this year. An Entrepreneur project has been added! Does your experienced 4-H member want to launch their chicken business? This is the project for them!

Is your family brand new to raising chickens? This club offers the perfect way to learn about raising a backyard poultry flock together.

Be sure to re-enroll for 4-H AND RSVP for the meeting to Rachel no later than Friday September 25! Enrollment instructions are located here: https://sfyl.ifas.ufl.edu/wakulla/4-h/
