Hurricane Irma

Need some help getting prepared for what may be a major hurricane and its aftermath? The UF/IFAS Extension publication DISASTERS: PREPARATION & RECOVERY is available free at the UF/IFAS Extension Wakulla County location at 84 Cedar Avenue in Crawfordville. This ring-bound booklet provides a series of checklist, useful in a high stress situation.

Sections offer advice and recommendations for securing in-place, items to have in an evacuation, caring for children and seniors, and much more. There is even a list of telephone numbers to organizations which offer additional information and aid.

This guide is printed on cardstock and ready for hard use. Free copies are available 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily at the Extension Office Monday through Friday.
