Do Your Part to Complete the Count

Census 2020 – Complete the Count!

It’s finally here and UF/IFAS Extension has an important role to support a complete count in this year’s legally required census. Census funds are important to the county to support infrastructure (roads, bridges, schools), SNAP, Head Start, grants for mental health services, and so much more!

Extension is funded by the USDA and has offices in every state and almost every county. Our program dollars depend on data. UF/IFAS Extension is actively supporting the county and state’s efforts to promote a #completecount.

Although the census officially kicked off on April 1, St. Lucie County has been prepping for a long time with its partner meetings. Our local communities and programs depend on your participation!

Stay “safer at home” and complete the census online, in the safety and privacy of your home on your phone, computer and laptop. Your data is confidential and protected by law.

Check out this video, read the blog written by Nick Place, Ph.D., Dean and Director of UF/IFAS Extension, watch the webinar, and visit national census site if you want to learn more and be sure to #MakeStLucieCount.
