What is 4-H?

4-H is a youth development program offered through the UF/IFAS Cooperative Extension Service. 4-H creates an environment for learning that enables youth to have fun, meet new people, develop life skills, build self-confidence, learn responsibility, and set and achieve goals. These skills and experiences gained through 4-H lead members to become caring and capable citizens throughout their lives. 4-H involves a wide variety of programs including clubs, projects, camps, contests, and events.
