Nicholas Labedzki

Program:

Geomatics

 

Meet Nicholas Labedzki, a graduate student in the Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Mapping Graduate Certificate
Program. He works as a Professional Land Surveyor licensed in the state of California, where he is also an active member in California Land Surveyors Association, CLSA.

CLSA is an organization that was founded in 1966 to advance the interests of the profession of Land Surveying. The organization’s mission is, “to maintain the highest possible standards of professional ethics and practice, to encourage uniformity of practices and procedures, and foster public faith in and understanding of Land Surveyors and their work.”

Nicholas volunteered as an officer for CLSA and was also appointed as a board member for the organization. He says, “I worked on numerous volunteer projects. Projects including surveying for Habitat for Humanity and performing and building a Calibration Baseline with the NGS.”
