Dig-in to school gardens on June 17 with our School Garden Workshop 2021

As we complete another school year and segue into summer, we celebrate our school gardens with our annual school garden workshop.

Join us June 17 for this free event, as we dig in to school gardens! We’ll over your most-requested topics, including: composting, worms, pollinators, bugs, and how to be Florida Friendly in our school gardens. Additionally, we will talk about school garden creation and expansion, tips to encourage engagement, and finding curricula.

And, we’ll feature one of my favorites: a school garden ‘show and tell’ to highlight two of our local teachers.

This workshop is delivered via live webinar, so participants throughout our district and region can easily attend. Learn more about the classes in our workshop by visiting our Eventbrite listing. You only need to register once to attend any or all the classes of the day.

Oh, and did we mention the event was FREE?!?
