Family Green Living Kits
Sarasota County offers Family Green Living Kits, formerly known as the Family Sustainability Kits, for checkout through any public library. The new and improved kits are designed as a fun, interactive activity to help you and your child discover what you can do to live “green.” The kits are designed for use by all ages.
Sustainability is a global issue, but there are ways you can make an impact and do your part at home every day. The Family Green Living Kit will help you learn about sustainability and how you can make a positive impact for our world through fun activities, games, and books. You can use this kit at home, in the classroom, backyard, or anywhere you go. Become an environmental steward and see how easy it is to help the planet through your everyday actions.
The Family Green Living Kit includes:
- Sustainable Development Goals Trivia Game
- Waste Invaders/Think Earth graphic novel and activity booklet
- Plogging activity
- Explore the World Without Leaving Your Home activity
