EVENT: The lowdown on Florida snakes

Many people fear snakes, but did you know that they are actually very beneficial animals? Join us July 12 for our free “Florida Snakes” class to learn an array of fascinating facts about these often-misunderstood creatures.

So, how are snakes beneficial? Well, one way is that they eat rats, mice and other undesirable pests, helping keep in check these unwanted visitors to our homes and landscapes. We’ll help you identify which snakes you are likely to see around your yard or home, and help you identify those very few venomous snakes found in Florida. Register early through ufsarsotaext.eventbrite.com to reserve your spot and receive notice of any changes.
