We are very pleased to introduce our new 4-H Agent, Prudence Caskey! Prudence recently came to work with Vickie Mullins, retired. Prudence has served for the past year as a 4-H Volunteer Leader and Program Assistant and organized the “Bockin’ -N- Eggs” 4-H Club. She is a 4-H Alumnus from Hernando County, Florida. Her 4-H projects included: sewing, poultry, rabbits, pigs, horses, leadership, citizenship, archery and she was on the first All-Girls Meat Judging Team in Hernando County. She also served as her club’s President for four consecutive years and always attended Congress and 4-H Legislature, one of her favorite events! Prudence earned a degree in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences from the University of West Florida. She came to us from the Insurance Industry, where she worked for 12 years. Prudence and her husband, Kyle have been married for 20 years and have an 13 year old son, Kyle, Jr. In her spare time, Prudence raises Old English Game Bantam chickens and for fun, she enjoys fishing and snorkeling. Prudence is excited to have a new career in 4-H, which she credits for helping her become the person she is today. She is looking forward to working with Santa Rosa County youth so that they too can benefit from all that 4-H has to offer!
