Are you interested in sustainability? Do you want to learn more sustainability and why it matters? UF/IFAS will be hosting an 8-week online class that will provide students a deeper understanding of the interconnectivity and aspects of the modern world including transportation, climate changes, land use issues, and developing community leadership skills.

Sustainable Floridians in an online class offered by UF/IFAS Extension in the Southeast and will consist of an eight-week course that combines group discussions, weekly action exercises and resource materials for an interactive and informative program. You will be provided with course materials and resources. Each week we will meet to learn about, sustainability basics, energy conservation, consumerism, transportation, climate change, local foods, land use issues, landscaping, water conservation, and community leadership.
When you commit to becoming a Sustainable FloridianSM you take on the role of educator and advocate within your local community. You will work to advance the message of sustainability and encourage residents to answer the call to sustainability.
