The Advanced Taxonomic Training video series available on the National Plant Diagnostic Network (NPDN) First Detector site now includes diagnostician-level training for the identification of scales, mealybugs, whiteflies, aphids, stink bugs, plant hoppers, and tree hoppers. These training videos are useful tools for advanced entomology students and insect identifiers at state and federal regulatory agencies.
