In order to earn a pesticide application certification for any of the Chapter 487 categories ( Private Applicator, Aquatic, Ornamental & Turf, etc.) you must pass the CORE exam. To renew any existing license (including Limited Commercial Landscape Maintenance) you must complete 2 hours of training. Monday, May 15th is and opportunity to do these things. If you are requires to apply restricted-use products to nursery stock, golf courses or other sports turf, you need an Ornamental & Turf pesticide license.
